My Rott HATED my Jeep... As big and bad as he was - I throw his ass in the Jeep and take him for a ride. If the doors were ON- he was cool. Sitting in the passenger seat, hanging out, tongue FLAPPIN'! If the doors were NOT on the Jeep... then that fucker was all UP AGAINST ME, to the point that I couldn't even shift that thing, with his heavy ass laying over on me... He did NOT LIKE the no-doors shiit. Not even.

You know the deal, brother. Dogs have "owners." Cats have "assistants," those a$sholes. My Rott was fucking AMAZING. 10lbs for every month old he was, until 10 months - 100lbs. at 11 months, he was 105. At two years, he was 125. At 3 years, he was 152lbs - and just RIPPED, like Arnold in the original Terminator. He was a fucking beast. I had to get rid of him because my first wife was a fucking biotch. So, $2k dog - I gave him away for free to a familiy friend in Ohio - and I paid my own money to air-freight his happy ass from Washington to Ohio. They got him for FREE. THAT pissed her off, too... At 5 years old, he almost ate the local mailman. After that, it was downhill for him. Lesson learned - do NOT be a stranger that approaches the front door every single day. Not with him, the way I trained him. He was a protector, and a giant fucking version of that protector, too. I had an orange Tiger cat at the time - the whole time I had the Rott - and that cat could kick that dog's ass ANYTIME. That was a badass cat. He'd get on top of that giant dog and ride him through the house... This sums it up.

I'll fire that paint scheme up again soon, on this new little .308. Desert Tiger Stripe.

GunBroker, honestly. Just wait for one to pop up. I've been here 10 years, and seen them here for sale exactly 4 times. I got that last one, 4th one. They're rare now, because Daniel Defense discontinued them 5 or 6 years ago. Once I finally got lucky on one, it took two weeks for it to turn into this: WATCH OUT for Airsoft re-manufacturers. That's not a real DD Lite Rail, and won't be near as strong as one. Good luck on the hunt.

^^^ That's it, right there. That, my friend, is the "dwell time." How long you give the gas to act on the BCG. Gas port location to the crown of the barrel. If it has more time to build, before it gets to the gas port, it's usually a softer shooter. That's gas system length. How long you give the gas to build/dissipate, BEFORE it can act on the BCG. Example - rifle length gas, versus carbine length gas. That carbine gas system will have a sharper "felt recoil."

Give up some of the details on how you're making this JP buffer - heavier. It'll help us better understand this system, and tweak it in the future.

On another note, Primary Arms "exceeds course standards" once again. My original tracking on that red dot stated it would show up on Thursday - tomorrow. It actually got here yesterday (Tuesday). I mounted it up last night. Next thing is the paint. This pic sucks...

Hit my last post in your intro thread - make the buffer heavier, that changes ejection pattern, and cuts down BCG speed - which is what's denting the case mouths.

Make that buffer heavier, and it'll change the ejection pattern more rearward. It'll cut down on the dented case mouths, too.

One thing to say here, Steve - please don't leave Cali, and drag your Cali politics to Houston. I hope you don't. Houston is a trainwreck with liberal politics now, with all the Cali transplants - that left what they were sick of, only to transform it into what they left in the first place. Are you reloading or not? That case mouth dent is very minor, and doesn't affect a reloader, not in the least.

Since it's May 2020 now - I can honestly say that I've known him and spoken with him for 10 solid years now. I love that guy. I first started talking to him in May 2010, when the Battle Arms Development BAD-ASS Ambi Safety was first released. He is truly a First-Class Act, and beyond that. He took me to SHOT Show in 2014. I have alot of respect for alot of people in the firearms industry, but I have no higher respect for anyone else in the firearms industry than him. He's the top of my list, and a wonderful person, hard worker, and hell of an interpreneur. Mad respect for Roger.

They're all rescues. Every one. And they're all a$sholes. Fits my personality. Plus, I can't leave a dog for a week, but I can leave a cat. Pile up food, set out waterbowls, make sure there's enough cat-shiit-gravel for them, and just FUK 'EM. They'll be fine when I get back.
