@unforgiven, try Hundreds for abs. Leg lifts. Keep your feet off the floor, legs together. Hands locked together, under your butt, for support. Raise your feet from 6" to 12" off the floor. Try the hundreds for that. That works lower abs. It takes upper abs to work lower abs, so you work lower abs first. If you only do crunches for abs, you smoke your uppers, then you can't work your lowers worth a damn - leg lifts, scissors, flutterkicks, etc. That's lowers. If you work uppers first - That's working them backwards. Always do lower abs first. Then uppers. Hundreds for leg lifts will fuk you up... Warning you now...

Hundreds, for other, explained easy: 10 rep max, take 30% of that. That's your workout weight. Do as many reps as you can, towards 100. Say you get 40. You have 60 to go. Your rest before the next set is 60 seconds. Say you do that next one and get 25. 40 first set, 25 second set - 65. You're 35 away from 100, so your rest to the 3rd set is 35 seconds, and you hit it again... Total combined reps from 100, no matter how many sets - that's your rest between sets. Just keep adding it up. The more the total reps to 100 go - the shorter the rest between sets is. It's a motherfucker. It's ideal for body-weight stuff, push-ups especially. Give it a run, boys. You'll smoke yourself. No matter how good you get, how many you can do that first set - that just makes the rest between sets shorter, and smokes you more...

He didn't set me up - I laughed when I told them it was stupid, and said they'd BOTH eventually BLOW A SEAL... Then they had that comeback... Good try at the bait, though...

Someone has to make something, brother.

4 Buck is my all around go-to. Pick up a +2 extension for that thing, and you'll love it. Nordic Components has great ones.

Been doing Hundreds for years, brother. Shiit works.
-
You bastards - ALL weekend, with this damn pneumatic bipod shiit... BOTH of you are getting a Kynshot hydraulic buffer for Christmas...

On the other side of the mountain, over in the same valley as Dillon, south of them. John and I scope it out a few years ago. Hilltop to hilltop, 3520 yards.
-
^^^ That'll be 1.86 miles, or 3280 yards... We're knocking on that 2-Mile setup at that point. 3520 yards is the ultimate goal...

Barrel availability update. Called Shaw Barrels this morning about the 12.5". They now have on the website that the 16" pre-order barrels are shipped, and other 16" barrels are in stock. Next up, shipping this week, are the 22" barrels. So, I called to ask when the 12.5" barrels were getting into the build queue - my answer was "They're in there with the other ones..." - which really wasn't an answer at all. Thanks, guys at Shaw. You Exceeded Course Standards. Excellent update. So, the BA 18" SPR barrel - ordered 29 Jan, stated 4~6 week lead time. I called at week 5 just to see, and I was told they'd ship in 2 weeks. That's about right now, so I'll be looking for an email anytime now on that one, if the timeline holds up. They have a PILE of barrel lengths and profiles that they're offering, but I'd think they'd push that 18" SPR profile towards the front of production, since all those barrel profiles do very well for them. We'll see. That's where we are...

YEP! Jen took a bite, and booted John away from it!

For what Todd said above - that's what we're here for, brother. Get it on target. @Magwa, Todd's gun is the Savage 110 Precision Elite in .338 Lapua, shooting factory Hornady Precision Hunter 270gr ELD-X. It was single-digit SD stuff. Right around 23.5 Mils of dope on that, to get it on the plate, which is impressive by itself - that's not alot of dial/dope, to hit 2k. His first 2 shots were 2952 fps and 2954 fps. After that, we didn't really watch it, just calculated 2953 into the program, and ran it. First string of 5, really close, all over the outside edges of the target. Take a break, cool the barrel, put another shooter and gun up on the platform, and return later. Todd's next turn up - impact on the first round of that string. Damn near center fukkin' mass on that target. It was pretty cool to run spotter-duties for that one. Badass shot, badass gun.

GREAT Weekend!!! First and foremost, @JBMatt COLD BORED THE 2K!!! Thursday and Friday, we were rained on, but went on with everything anyway. Saturday and Sunday were MUCH better, and more like normal. The others will be in here with stories, I'm sure. @JBMatt and I took a hike up to the 712, and repainted it and re-hung it. It was previously only up there with hooks and 550 cord. Here it is before - now it has heavy duty chain bolted to it, and repainted... It rained so much in Friday, that we ended up with a double rainbow... Impacts on the 2k, shot on Friday, in the rain... Today's position for the 2k, @Cunuckgaucho on his 6.5 PRC, @Matt.Cross photo-bombing, I'm spotting...

Brand new bottle, fresh from the store. If you had cats, you'd understand the need...
-
I'm so stuffed, brother, I can't move. And I still have work to do tonight. FML...

Might as well kick this one off right away! @Matt.Cross flight was perfectly timed around noon today, @Cunuckgaucho arrived at 1515hrs. We're working on a good Queso dip right now, Matt is prepping his marinade for T-Bones, and I've got 2 T-Bones in the salt treatment as we speak. Tonight we feast, T-Bones and shrimp on the grill. Tomorrow morning, we pack the trailer, and head to the SDTF.

That's a good gun, man.

I FOUND IT!!! It's her nipples!

^^^ The world NEEDS more of this. Bitch Slaps are WELL DESERVED. Just not handed out enough. That would make the world a better place. Way more then "feelz"... People need the shiit slapped out of them when they do something stupid. The learning curve of doing stupid shiit would come WAY down, and FAST. I'm down with it. Great post, Doc!

HEAR, HEAR!!! Very nice way to round out the .308 Win family, JWB!

I WANT them to believe that!

The use of small-unit drones has been readily apparent in the Ukrain-Russia Fiasco. They're VERY effective. Great post, Rene.
