Lake City NATO brass, 75gr Hornady HPBTs, CCI 41 primers and 24.2 grains of RL-15 has been my go-to load for years. Gets me 2789 fps from an 18" barrel.
You'll see that Varget and RL-15 are almost direct replacements for each other. You can generally take someone else's RL-15 load, use Varget, and it's safe to shoot, won't hurt you, and will be damn, damn close to identical. Same goes the other way, take a Varget recipe, substitute RL-15, and you'll be fine and safe, and it'll work great. Might need to tweak a tenth of a grain here or there, but it'll work for testing, and might just work great enough not to mess with.
