The pin and weld is way easier - Get the hole where you need it (indexed muzzle device), insert pin, touch with welder. Done. It's removable. Just requires a little precision grinding, and a sharp drill bit. Bam, off. I pinned a 14.5" barrel with an AAC Brakeout. Decided I wanted that Brakeout on something else, so I removed it, put on the AAC Blackout in it's place, then pinned that thing to the 14.5". JT is right on the money, it's 1100-degree silver solder. That's a fuk-ton of heat, even with heat-paste to prevent the heat traveling down the barrel.

There's different disciplines out there, brother (hence the reasons for different guns, too). That's why I said that - you threw a specific one at Matt, and I know he rides a KLR. #1. Ambi safety. I won't kid you. There's really only one way to go, and you know what I'm gonna say. The BAD-ASS. You're LEO - get your a$s on DSG Arms and send in your credentials, so you get your MIL/LEO discount. Snatch your BAD-ASS from them. It's gonna be around $40 for the basic setup - standard long side and short side. It's the smoothest ambi out there, and I've tried a few others. They don't compare. #2. The VG6 muzzle devices are pretty damn good, and you can find deal on them. The Epsilon is a combination brake/comp/flash hider, and it's good. The Gamma is just a brake/comp combination. Any suppressor that you can attach to an A2, you can attach to those. #3. I'm a big fan of Dtreamlight weapons lights. You could even toss a pistol light on a piece of pic rail on the side of your rifle - they have a LOT of lights, brother.
