  1. YES!!! I'm trying it.
  2. Oooooh! I'd like to shoot that beast sometime!
  3. My example above is definitely some "Cheaper Than Dirt" shiit, right there...
  4. I just want to point something out here. Do your research when you're searching for parts. If you want a deal on something, always search it out on the 'net, and check for better prices - you'd be surprised at what you can find sometimes. ALWAYS verify the seller - if you see something listed dirt cheap, seemingly too-good-to-be-true - then dig into that vendor HARD. There are alot of fake sites out there ready to take your money, and Eff you over. If a site doesn't have a physical location listed for a storefront, that you can find on Google street view, and an actual landline phone number that you can call - then be forewarned. If I can't find a physical address for a company, and a real phone number for them, listed directly on their website, then I won't buy from them. There's something shady about a company that won't publicly list that information. Now, for the next part - and I have an example I'd like to make... When you see something somethere, and it's listed at about 30% off, check it out. Looks like a GREAT deal! 30% off? Are you kidding me?!!? Check into it... I'm looking for a Geissele S3G trigger, for example. It's listed directly on the Geissele website at full retail, for $245. Here's the link: https://geissele.com/super-3-gun-s3g-trigger.html Bill Geissele himself wwants $245 for that trigger - and it's well worth that amount. So, search the part number on the webz, look for deals, and find what works for you - and research that vendor, if it's too cool of a price. Now, here we have some other shady business dealings. Companies will INFLATE prices on their website, then mark that number down, and make you think you're getting a GREAT deal! My example here is the same Geissele S3G trigger - listed for $245 FROM the manufacturer - and it's "on sale" from this company. Looks around 30% off, too! Now, if I only shop from this company, it looks like a fantastic deal - Because they over-inflated the original price, right there in plain view, right on their website. Check this ad out: https://palmettostatearmory.com/geissele-super-three-gun-s3g.html Now, where on the fucking PLANET is that trigger for sale for $336?!!? Where was THAT ever a price for this trigger? It never WAS a price for this trigger, never even from the manufacturer himself, but it sure looks like it's about 30% off, and "on sale" for $240.99 from that company... Long story short - I'll hand Bill Geissele $245 for that trigger, directly, rather than save $4.01 on that trigger from a company that's pulling shiit like that, right on their website. Choose your dollars wisely, people. Really look at what you're looking at, see beyond the smoke and mirrors... Off my about all that...
  5. I was looking for the finished product! I'm already hungry!
  6. Yep, it's that time of year. October 22nd. If you don't have a Ruger 10/22 in your stockpile - then you need one. Or seven.
  7. That Aurora=reticle scope above is in meters - I wouldn't do that one, out here in the .civ world. If running a BDC scope (and I have a pile of the PA BDC scopes), I'd grab one with the reticle in yards. It makes a difference, when shooting with other people, communicating with your spotter, etc.
  8. .308 is well good for what you want the gun to do, don't hesitate on that part, or caliber. Very popular round, found just about anywhere, lot's of factory loadings for precision ammo when that time comes. Don't hesitate on that caliber, or worry about selecting that as your caliber. Our Dear Friend @Magwa has taken many elk with a simple .308 Win 16" barreled AR. It just works. It'll work way longer than 400 yards, too.
  9. Don't do that. You buy that gun from them, and you'll be back here asking questions on why it doesn't work - it'll force you to become your own Armorer, and fix it yourself. Just buy an Armalite DEF-10. It'll work, right out of the box, won't fail, and won't leave you frustrated your first time out to the range. After that, you can start tinkering with it, and change anything you want. Look towards Primary Arms for optics that will work very well for what you want to the rifle to do for you.
  10. @shepp, we'll run through rigs this time, and talk about "the why" for some of this stuff. My Long Range rig is exactly how I need it, after several changes, but for a specific reason. I know @Cunuckgaucho asked me a couple years ago to go through that rig, and we just ran out of time to do it. We'll make it a point to do, this year. Everything has a function - or it goes. Something else will replace it.
  11. Nope - that's good gear, brother. You'll love it, and we'll run it.
  12. I know when I'm the Mark...
  13. I figured as much.
  14. This is all intertwined in this thread, so I'll continue it right here. "Frames and Receivers" took a SCOTUS hit today. Check it out.
  15. I love it when you talk dirty to me...
  16. I'm gonna have to dig up some serious GoPro footage of "nutso blonde chick," and post some vids. I have a LIBRARY full of those things, going back YEARS... (^^^Got 18 police reports to back that up, too - those need to get posted sometime...)
  17. Both of them... Eh, they're just like all the crazy little blondes. Just batshiit nuts when they don't get their way.
  18. Exactly. It has no teeth. No weight. But, it needs to go. Never to be spoken of again, just like their fakeass "Office of Disinformation." Just , ... Bye...
  19. I'm just sayin'... They might LOOK like fun! But, not. They're nuts.
  20. HOOOOOOO!!! BOY!!! I've dated enough of these ones to last me a LIFETIME! Just because they're cute, little, and blonde - DOES NOT mean they are safe... Mantra to live by - Good from Far, but FAR from Good!... Tellin' you now...
