  1. I hate getting sliced by a zip-tie that someone didn't cut right. Hate it. I love the idea of attaching the cart to the door handle, too.

    Tractor pulls

Grew up watching the tractor and truck pulls at the county fairgrounds. As a kid, I couldn't wait until they announced when the next one was, and I'd be all fired up, couldn't wait to go. I love this stuff. People that have never seen this in person have no idea how much of an equalizer that transfer sled is, that they have to pull.

    Grilling

Looks very good! Now I need to fire up the grill, damnit...
  4. Damn! Those are NICE LOOKIN'!!!
  5. So, I think I need to mention something, for long-time gun guys - and even for new people that do their research. AAC. For the longest time it was Advanced Armament Corporation. Suppressors, like the 762 SDN-6 (legendary), their brakes, attachments for suppressors - fuks sake, the Honey Badger was an AAC gun. They're gone now. Forever. Remington bought AAC, and when that happened, they fucked Kevin Brittingham over bad. He was the Main Brain at AAC. Fucked over hard. There are articles on it. Well, Vista Outdoors bought Remington - and everything went to shiit. 7 different companies bought up everything that was, with that giant conglomerate, when it went down. PSA bought up a shiitload of it. Well, JJE Capitol Holdings (PSA's corporate entity) bought up a bunch. Many articles out there on it. In short, they got AAC, too - Advanced Armament Corporation - the suppressors. Since they got the company, they got the logo, as well. "AAC" now is "America's Ammunition Company..." That's all PSA ammunition. However, PSA is branding it with the old Advanced Armament Corporation logo - hey, they own it, right?... Good way to make people think they're getting ammo from Advanced Armament Corporation - an absolutely Top Tier company. But, whatever. Keep that in mind when you're looking at this ammo. It's branded like it's coming from a Top Tier company - banking on what people KNEW back then. It's manufactured by a budget company, trying to get product out to people at the lowest possible cost. Budget customers, bring budget-customer problems. At any rate, I wanted to get that out. I don't know how the ammo does, how it performs. I won't try it, either, that's just me. I know for a fact that PSA can't get a functional .308 AR out the door, with 100% reliability. I've been wanting to say something about this since this thread first started, and just didn't put the time into it. Tonight, I dug out an article that's over a year old, just to dicument what I'm saying. It's right here: https://blog.roninsgrips.com/whats-up-with-palmetto-state-armory-and-aac-ammo/ So, if the ammo is good - report back on it. If it sucks - report that, too. It's coming from PSA, so I don't expect much out of it, but to "go bang." My $0.02 on "America's Ammunition Company" branded with the old "Advanced Armament Corporation" logo...
  6. Very nice chest rig, brother - good score.
  7. You gotta build one, brother.
  8. This is worth "managing through" the free ads. Good flick. All actors in here - aren't actors. Military members. Muscle through the age-restriction bullshiit - it's a good movie to watch.
  9. ...and those blue porta-shiitters...
  10. Correct. That's not the issue, though. The fucked up recoil system is the issue. Back to this - time has told the tale. This kid is internet famous now, for bring up a topic for a minute, then shooting fast for the next 9 minutes of his vid - and not really explaining a single thing. As well as vids out there about how unsafe he is. And, he's TRAINING people now... Wow.
  11. I've run both versions now (BT and non-BT) for shooting matches, and they're both great, IMHO. Running the BT version for over 1.5 years now. Easy to wear, never in the way, excellent NR (better than the NR on my Walker Stealth 2.0s, at 26). I can't complain, and would wear them hunting. Interesting, between the 2 versions. The BTs can amplify external sound in 3 steps, to max amp. The non-BTs can amplify sound in 5 steps, to max amp. I don't need BT, so I kinda like the non-BTs a little better because of that. Not saying the nons amplify sound MORE, can't decide on that yet, with two months with them. But, they have more steps in teh amplification to choose from, over the BTs. My thoughts.
  12. As long as the broken one isn't the one you used to drill the barrel - and it's still in there... Then we're good.
  13. Went into effect in June 2022, if I'm not mistaken. I was home then, and it took effect while I was back there during that visit. No bad stories of "gun nuts loose with unregistered guns..." There never are. It went into effect in July 2010 here in AZ - and it's not nuts here because of it.
  14. It's only 90 seconds per stage, so I don't know what kind of nap you're looking for... Plus, you should be spotting for me - if you cared about me...
  15. We might need to put you on the dyno and tweak the fuel tables a smidge, but we'll get you straight to 4,000hp in no time... Might be midway through the first night, but it won't take long...
  16. That's the damn truth... Laugh now, brother - you ARE the 15:1 compression race engine, and that Canadian Coke is what you're meant to run on, for optimum performance. When we feed you that low-octane US 87 stuff, we have to retard your ignition timing so you don't blow up... On that Canadian stuff, you're weapons-free - bump up the boost and just let you go...
  17. That's the Race Gas, compared to US 87 Unleaded...
  18. Ugh. I hate that area, alot.
  19. Perfect...
  20. Tastes WAY BETTER when you do!
  21. Oh no, make NO mistake... He's all hopped up on Coca-Cola!
  22. Here is Bud Light's latest commercial, trying to kiss ass and win back people. The people don't care though. This is hilarious - now we're all grunting cavemen...
  23. Great movie...
  24. Get me the pertinent specs on that barrel listed up here, and I'll let you know what you need for a gas port diameter range. You measure them (the easiest way) with numbered drill bits.
  25. I like your style, brother! I have a small brisket on, fired up the Coors Light, and just turned on Sons of Liberty. Great way to run the day out. Have a great Independence Day, you sack of deplorables.
