widowmaker972
I have a a PA10 upper with a matched PA10 lower SR25, been using ASC SR25, 20 round mags. When I load the mag with 7.62x51, chamber a round, and pull the trigger, I get nada and the bolt locks up, I have to take a hammer and pound on the charging handle back to get the round out of battery. This does not happen with .308 Win. What's the deal?, I thought 7.62x51 and .308 win were the exact same round with the load being the only difference. Help ! 98Z5V
Very, very, very tight chamber - or some bad reloads with a compressed shoulder. What barrel are you using, and what ammo are you using?

survivalshop
Why not Mortar the rifle , to eject , just make sure, if its equipped with a collapsable stock , that is collapsed all the way , before you do it . Head Space needs to checked , as said . What does the Barrel read , as far as caliber ? What 7.62x51 ammo are you using ? What 308 ammo ? Robocop1051
I say maybe head space, or.... either the barrel or the bolt is AR10 and the alternate is DPMS.
Dport257
I have a PA-10 and was under the impression only AR10 mags would work, such as PMAG10s, not SR25 mags.

PMags and SR25 mags are the same pattern. It's the Armalite AR-10 mags that are different. Well, not the newer AR-10 A-Model, which is made to take the PMags.
