Seems JD may have/had a consistency problem. I hope it is in the past tense, as in "had".

Keep in mind as mentioned previously the MAGPULS were not available when the JD hardware was released. We saw this with CMMG as well.

I know where you're coming from and how you feel Mr. Robobot. You research everything you can think of only to get screwed on the one thing you missed. Happens allot in my life.

Well, I wouldn't toss that receiver right yet. You can always use it in your gun now and replace it later. Once you replace it, you'll have some trade stock. All is not lost.

I sold that receiver YEARS ago. I went with the SI-Defense instead.

I saw JDM at the local gun show (Sacramento) and I really liked their new stuff. They are definitely getting expensive.

I hope it was a "had" as well. I had my fair share of issues with their tolerances being a bit tight.  Overall, I'm pretty happy with the gun.

Yes I concur. I have not had any load failures at all with Pmags, nor any type of failure for that matter. I must say that now that I have completed mine I have nothing bad to say about my JDM receivers. I am very satisfied with the final product now at this time  <thumbsup>
