planeflyer21
A wheelie!! http://www.fool.com/investing/general/2015/04/25/youll-never-guess-the-nras-surprising-handgun-of-t.aspx 5-shots of .44 Magnum in a very portable L-frame. If you haven't handled one of these go check one out. Smith put some effort into this one. It only lacks the proper caliber: .45ACP

AngelDeVille
What a load of crap, guess which firearms manufacturer donated the most money to the NRA last fiscal year. F S&W in the ear. Do they ship the keys to the internal lock separately, so you don't hurt yourself with the dangerous gun?
Tripledeuce
I'v handled the 69. Its a nice gun! I almost bought it, but when I went back, to do so, it had already been sold. As it turned out, I know the person who bought it. We spent a pleasant day at the range. Shooting everything from 44Russian cowboy loads to full 44 mag loads. My wife had a new shooter with her, ans she wanted to try it. Said it was pretty nice, with the cowboy loads, and fun with the 44 specials. I ahd her double ear plug ( plugs and muffs) for the Mag loads. She didn't much care for them, but said she could handle some in an emergency. I WILL buy the next one that comes along! StainTrain
I guess a 1911 or Glock (or any modern firearm) wasn't in the running.
unforgiven
I guess it's cause of the simplicity of operation of the revolver. <dontknow>
StainTrain
I guess it's cause of the simplicity of operation of the revolver. <dontknow> <lmao> Perhaps....because after 5 rounds through that thing, I simply won't reload it.
unforgiven
After 5 ,time to just pull another pistol.I carry the S&W for alot of driving and in and out w/speedloader but would be hard pressed under stress for reload. So now it's 2 pistols 1911 & .38.Want to get to brother Robs level of 6 pistols, but I think I'll need suspenders to hold my fukin pants up. <laughs>
Microgunner
Give the NRA enough money and rubber bands shot from your fingertip will be declared "Handgun Of The Year". That honor has always been for sale.
Magwa
As long as S&W make guns with internal lock they can go fly a kite on a no wind day or piss up a rope either suits me....!
