sketch
For those fast food employees striking for $15 an hour, let's do some math. At $15 an hour Johnny Fry-Boy would make $31,200 annually. An E1 (Private) in the military makes $18,378. An E5 (Sergeant) with 8 years of service only makes $35,067 annually. So you're telling me, Sally McBurgerflipper, that you deserve as much as those kids getting shot at, deploying for months in hostile environments, and putting their collective asses on the line every day protecting your unskilled butt!? Here's the deal, Baconator, you are working in a job designed for a kid in high school who is learning how to work and earning enough for gas, and hanging out with their equally goofy high school pals. If you have chosen this as your life long profession, you have failed. If you don't want minimum wage, don't have minimum skills. If you can read this, thank a teacher. If it's in English, thank a Veteran.

ChaseFan9
Lucky, I barely make half that, and that's STILL more than minimum wage is out here. If you don't like your pay, get a better job. Work too hard? Come down here one weekend and I'll show you some hard work (fyi, it's been high 90's the past few days, with what feels like 100% humidity). Some people will strike for anything.... planeflyer21
Wow...what are all the burger flippers going to do when nobody buys $15 big macs? I guess they'll have to rely on their liberal arts degree in poverty inequality.

392heminut
Hell yes! It's a minimum wage job no matter how you look at it. Schit, half the time those people can't even do the simple assed job they are supposed to be doing. I have gotten to the point where I don't walk out or leave the drive up without checking my order because 50% of the time they have managed to FUK IT UP, and these dipshits think they deserve $15 an hour for THAT? The other morning on my way to Albuquerque I stopped at a McDonalds and ordered a sausage/egg Mcmuffin. What I got was a biscuit with egg and ham! How do you fuk something up that bad and then think you deserve $15 an hour? WTF!
blue109
That's about what I make, and I have to wear body armor and a gun. Already told my boss if they ever pass that charcoal here I'll be flipping burgers by Friday. And doing it with a smile. Lol. Charcoal? Really?
