  So from what i'm reading , you installed the OEM Receiver extension & Buffer system & you think its not going back far enough from recoil to reset the Hammer Sear into the trigger Sear ?

  Or is this the AR 10 set up ?

 

 You think the Buffer is too light & the spring is too strong to let the BCG come back far enough to reset said Hammer /Trigger Sears ?

 

  Does the Bolt stop lock the Bolt, on last round fired in the Mag ?

 

  Can you lock back the Bolt with the Bolt Catch Manually ?

I did not get to check bolt lock back on last round with the Armalite tube& spring.I did with the Aero OEM.

 

Yes I can lock bolt & catch manually.

 

Trigger at that point resets and hammer drops on actuation.

  Starting sound like that tight Bolt or a weak gas impulse or with the Aero factory set up . If it functions correctly with the AR 10 set up, that will tell you what not to use , as 98 has said <laughs> . Still makes you wonder what Aero is using or could be the way the Receives Extension attachment spec's are  . <thumbsup>

The problem I truely think is the coating on the BCG.After it's broke in the OEM setup should work <dontknow> The AR10 buffer is longer which should be alittle heavier,should arrive soon.Worked for brother Tom should work for me.

Is that the Armalite carbine buffer? If I'm reading right I may as well by the tube, spring, and buffer from Armalite for my build.

Buffer on order is H3 Armalite buffer from Riflegear $37.00 w/ ship it was $44.00.Then the entire setup will be AR10 Armalite. <thumbsup>
