ponce Posted June 13, 2015 Report Posted June 13, 2015 Has anybody tried the Ruger replacement triggers? Or has one actually been seen? http://ruger.com/micros/AR-Trigger/
planeflyer21 Posted June 13, 2015 Report Posted June 13, 2015 Nope. Wonder if it's a polymer fcg like on the 10/22s now.
98Z5V Posted June 14, 2015 Report Posted June 14, 2015 Nope. Wonder if it's a polymer fcg like on the 10/22s now. Really? They're making that one in plastic now, too? You're talking hammer and trigger and sear, right? The trigger group housing has been plastic for years, but the other pieces were metal, before. I haven't bought one since 2011, also...
FaRKle! Posted June 14, 2015 Report Posted June 14, 2015 Wow, I didn't realize this includes the trigger as well as the dry fire assembly. That's not a bad price at all for all that.So Ponce, when's yours coming in? I see Bud's has it for about $100.
ChaseFan9 Posted June 14, 2015 Report Posted June 14, 2015 So does it come assembled in one of those cut up lowers like in the picture?
FaRKle! Posted June 14, 2015 Report Posted June 14, 2015 So does it come assembled in one of those cut up lowers like in the picture?Yes. Comes installed in the dry-fire jig with all the control parts. You then take it out of the jig and put it in your rifle.
washguy Posted June 14, 2015 Report Posted June 14, 2015 (edited) Wow how cool...but since none of my AR's are "modern sporting rifles" I wont be using one :loser: Wash Edited June 14, 2015 by washguy

FaRKle! Posted July 1, 2015 Report Posted July 1, 2015 I just ordered one. We'll see if its any good. It looks good.Excellent! Looking forward to your eval!
survivalshop Posted July 1, 2015 Report Posted July 1, 2015 Why the dry fire assembly ? You say the components are made of Plastic ? WTF , I'll be waiting for a review & plenty of photo's also <thumbsup>
98Z5V Posted July 2, 2015 Report Posted July 2, 2015 Why the dry fire assembly ? You say the components are made of Plastic ? WTF , I'll be waiting for a review & plenty of photo's also <thumbsup> Nope, that was Jon's supposition. <<< That word kinda looks like suppository, now that I see it spelled out. That was just Jon, and his suppositories again... See below vvv... Wonder if it's a polymer fcg like on the 10/22s now.
98Z5V Posted July 9, 2015 Report Posted July 9, 2015 Very cool, man. Very, very cool. <thumbsup> One of these is definitely on "the list," but I need to get through two more .308s and a lightweight 5.56 first. Might make it into one of those.
bradford Posted July 9, 2015 Report Posted July 9, 2015 Ok here's the range report you've been waiting for. I fired about a hundred rounds today from a Ruger SR 762 and this trigger is better than the factory trigger but it still has some take up that I can feel that is not real smooth. I don't have a scale to measure trigger pull but it is much lighter than factory. I am satisfied with the pull weight but not with the smoothness. It still could use improvement in my opinion.
FaRKle! Posted July 9, 2015 Report Posted July 9, 2015 Thanks for the update! Hopefully it smooths out over time.
