ahlgee
Just wanted to post my experience with Blackthorne LLC. I ordered a complete DPMS 308 upper, bolt and charging handle. The company sent me the wrong parts. The company does not have a phone number to call for customer service, only email which they will not answer. Needless to say after having to turn them into the BBB, and disputing the charge with my credit card, I finally was able to send back to wrong part, and get a refund for my order but got screwed out of the shipping cost, but I'll take what I can get. The whole fiasco took a month and half. They seem to have decent prices, but customer service is not existent, so if they screw up you will have to fight to get the order corrected or refund and still have to pay for their mistakes. So Buyer Beware.
blue109
Ouch. Just do a Google search for Blackthorne. You got off easy. Probably better off in the long run.

Robocop1051
People still buy Blackthorne???? How are they still in business.
98Z5V
Blackthorne/Vulcan/Hesse, and now there's another new name that they have, too. Can't remember what it is, but it deals with subguns. Found it: Velocity Firearms. That's their new one. Stay the fuk away from all of them. akpartskits.com is another web address that takes you right to them. Not worth the headaches, or the potential personal injury...
DNP
Sorry for your troubles. I haven't seen that name pop up in a while. For the record....that is the correct way to use your first post as a complaint against a company. First-there was actually an issue worth warning about. Second, there was no additional whining...just facts and a timeline. Thank you. There was a recent incident here that was a great example of how not to do this. I wonder how that other guy would have handled this? He went nuts over waiting 3 days for the right part...this would have sent him over the edge for sure.
