GreyGoose Posted August 31, 2015 Report Posted August 31, 2015 These look pretty cool!I sure like the way the base plate comes off on these compared to factory OEM.I'm waiting for G19/23&21 mags.Only $15.15 w/ FREE SHIPPING.And then they're making folding AK stocks too!Magpul Zhukov-S Stock, nice looking. and unlike many folding stocks it looks like you could get a decent cheek weld on this one.Available from AIM Surplus for $94.95
Robocop1051 Posted August 31, 2015 Report Posted August 31, 2015 I already bought and used a full Zhukov set on a C39v1. It came out awesome.
GreyGoose Posted August 31, 2015 Author Report Posted August 31, 2015 Ya that is a great looking set Rob!I mightl have to order that up, I have been waiting to change the original wood furniture out on my Norinco Type 56,
Robocop1051 Posted August 31, 2015 Report Posted August 31, 2015 If I had it to do over, I'd get the fixed MOE skeleton stock. I don't need a folder (I actually had to pin this stock, due to CA laws) and I ended up using the shortest adjustment. The fixed stock wouldb've been enough.
ChaseFan9 Posted August 31, 2015 Report Posted August 31, 2015 Didn't you have to mod the hell out of the back of the receiver to make it work, Robo?
shepp Posted August 31, 2015 Report Posted August 31, 2015 Not that I've really looked but this is the first add I've seen for their drum too
Robocop1051 Posted September 1, 2015 Report Posted September 1, 2015 Didn't you have to mod the hell out of the back of the receiver to make it work, Robo?not the receiver as much as the stock itself. The receiver was drilled to accept a larger mounting bolt, but that was it. The stock got butchered to fit the tighter milled receiver.
GreyGoose Posted September 1, 2015 Author Report Posted September 1, 2015 Hey Shepp,That's an unexpected offering from those guys, huh? Or maybe not, maybe you'd think why hadn't they done it a long time ago being in the mag biz right. But damn, I've practiced so much over the years with AR's using regular 30rd mags to even consider introducing that sort of $h!t... Haha!

98Z5V Posted September 1, 2015 Report Posted September 1, 2015 Hey Shepp,That's an unexpected offering from those guys, huh? Or maybe not, maybe you'd think why hadn't they done it a long time ago being in the mag biz right. They had a 60rd quad-stack mag that looked alot - ALOT - like the Surefire mag. And Surefire dropped it first. There's pics out there of it, but they're not easy to find.
GRA Posted September 2, 2015 Report Posted September 2, 2015 I already bought and used a full Zhukov set on a C39v1. It came out awesome.Nice gun
MLC Posted September 4, 2015 Report Posted September 4, 2015 Not sure what the interest is, but the OP mentioned the Magpul Glock mags. I bought one and it dropped from my G34 with zero issues. I didn't do any ridiculous torture tests or anything, but I did let it hit the ground a few times and it seemed no worse for the wear. My only complaint was it felt kind of cheap in the hand, and the seam running down the back of the mag seemed like it ought to be cleaned up a little. Just something to add to my "to do" list once I'm back in free America again I suppose.
cantshootafish Posted December 17, 2015 Report Posted December 17, 2015 I love the Magpul Glock mags. No more cutting of your thumbs on the brass inserts when reloading. They are working perfectly.
