I read that article just the other day. That car is so rare that even if it cost $100 thou to restore it it would be worth it. Too bad it's not a Hemi car though.

That car was a regular Charger that had a Superbird front clip and wing put on it for the movie. The Superbirds had the recessed rear glass removed and and filler panel with flush fitting glass installed for aerodynamics. On this car they used a Chevy Vega hatchback rear glass and sheetmetal to make a filler panel. The guy who built the car said it was a really good fit!

I have always wanted one, whether a superbird or Daytona. I found the company that makes the repro nose cone and wing but its still a lot of work to put one together and i'm too lazy and poor to actually do it :)
