planeflyer21 Posted January 31, 2016 Report Posted January 31, 2016 IIRC this hit the market about the same time as the societal shift to self-loaders was happening. Initially P&R were doing conversions to existing S&Ws, then came out with their own revolver. Most reviewers said it was interesting and a cool concept (shoots most any mid-bore size revolver OR semi-auto cartridge, marketed as a SHTF gun), but it wasn't an autoshucker. Additionally they poopooed the idea that a prepared person wouldn't have the proper ammo for their handgun.I had my FFL and shop at the time. Never saw a wholesale listing for it.
survivalshop Posted January 31, 2016 Report Posted January 31, 2016 Its also kinda pricey , I've never heard of it .
planeflyer21 Posted January 31, 2016 Report Posted January 31, 2016 Its also kinda pricey , I've never heard of it .Did someone on 308AR forum just complain about pricey?!? <laughing>
unforgiven Posted January 31, 2016 Author Report Posted January 31, 2016 One was listed in Armslist for under 5K.There were only 500 made.Do know why someone else didn't pickup on this idea.I think it's brilliant.
blue109 Posted January 31, 2016 Report Posted January 31, 2016 I've been wanting a 9mm revo. Something like that would be sweet. Also surprised nobody else ran with it.
survivalshop Posted January 31, 2016 Report Posted January 31, 2016 Did someone on 308AR forum just complain about pricey?!? <laughing> Damn right , I'm cheap when I can .? I see no real use for a Revolver like that . 38-357 mag , why would you need to shoot 9mm ? Just so you can ? Still why ? If someone wants to pay 5K for one , good for them ?
Dane Armory Posted January 31, 2016 Report Posted January 31, 2016 I posted about this gun a couple of years ago... it's awesome.
planeflyer21 Posted January 31, 2016 Report Posted January 31, 2016 (edited) I've been wanting a 9mm revo. Something like that would be sweet. Also surprised nobody else ran with it. Straight 9mm can be had. S&W has one currently in production. You can also find them by Charter Arms, Ruger, and Taurus if you'd like.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0FbUMqoyjDw Edited January 31, 2016 by planeflyer21

The Rugers were 5-shot SP101s. Not all bad I suppose but a snubbie revolver. They did take moonclips though. Edited February 1, 2016 by planeflyer21
Dane Armory Posted February 1, 2016 Report Posted February 1, 2016 Look into a Korth ! Lots of options with the use of moonclips.
