Cupid Stunt
Hello all, I am just starting out in the AR 308 world. I bought an already built up, used Aero Precision M5 a few weeks ago and of course that led me to think I should do one myself. Goodbye Kansas. Anyhow, this weekend's conundrum has been replacing the the commercial size buffer tube on my DPMS 308 Oracle with a Mil-Spec tube. No tubes to be had in town, save for an Aero Precision M5 Tube/Spring/Buffer set for 80 bucks. I bought it, installed it. Viola! The problem Now, the bolt comes forward with more ferocity than I imagine is good. Considerably more than my Aero. Any thoughts?

survivalshop
Going to assume you have a Carbine Stock set up , because of the Change out to Mil Spec , how long is the Buffer & its weight , how long is the Buffer Spring & how many coils ? What is the depth of the Receiver Extension ( buffer tube ) ?
Cupid Stunt
Thanks for response folks @unforgiven - Haven't gotten it to the range with this setup. @survivalshop - I'll check all that when I get home.

jtallen83
I put an Aero buffer system on my Matrix build, she does send it home with authority but no issues, it has eased up some as the spring broke in.
