Really everything the M14 was, and for Italy and Beretta, modifying the old Garands was a lot cheaper. Wellll, maybe, maybe not. For years I've been hearing the stories about the Korean Garands being returned, (more) Greek Garands being returned, and now Phillipine Garands being returned.
