unforgiven Posted December 29, 2011 Report Posted December 29, 2011 Welcome from the midwest gentlemen there are a lot of great guys here <thumbsup>
seakrakken Posted December 29, 2011 Report Posted December 29, 2011 Thanks,Despite OK being well fortified there seems to be very few AR-10s.Maybe with some more networking I can find more.Again thanks for the welcome.
unforgiven Posted December 29, 2011 Report Posted December 29, 2011 I run Rock River products am very happy with them one in 5.56 and .308/7.62 brother Sea.Shoot on bro.
Retired JM Posted December 29, 2011 Report Posted December 29, 2011 I'm a bit south of you in Walters, seakrakken. Gimme a holler and maybe we can set up something.
planeflyer21 Posted December 29, 2011 Report Posted December 29, 2011 Welcome Seakrakken!I too run RRA in the .308 platform. I'm a happy customer so far!Jon
seakrakken Posted December 29, 2011 Report Posted December 29, 2011 8) Lot of the RRA rigs!I nearly got the RRA and even put a deposit on it.When I went in a couple of months later there was an Armalite on the rack. After I got to compare the weights I went with the Armalite instead. It was just about the weight, not the quality.I was impressed with the RRA and I even had 20 FN-FAL mags on hand.It is a solid piece. After comparing the heft I decided I was too lazy to start having to work out so I could carry that one in the field on a hike for pigs. ;DI got a Redfield Revolutions 3-9x50 scope for Christmas. ;DI just got to learn it first before I jump out there with it.Once I get real familiar with it then I'll feel more comfortable in the grasslands with it.
unforgiven Posted December 29, 2011 Report Posted December 29, 2011 Armalite is a good product,it seems like Armalite and DPMS are one of the leading platforms here.Understandabley because of the versatility in components.I also have a Redfield scope 4-12X40 Accu-Range good value and made in the U.S.A. <thumbsup>Shoot on brother Seakrakken.
