Belt Fed Posted November 14, 2021 Report Posted November 14, 2021 Any of you have one and a compressor to air it up. i think they would be a blast. lookin at the sig and compressor SIG Sauer MCX Virtus | PCP Air Rifle Replica | Airgun Depot Amazon.com : Orion Motor Tech High-Pressure Electric Air Compressor Pump with Pressure Gauge, 4500 PSI/30 MPa /300 BAR Air Pump for Air Rifle PCP Airgun Paintball Scuba Fill Station for Fire Fighting and Diving : Sports & Outdoors
Lonewolf McQuade Posted November 14, 2021 Report Posted November 14, 2021 Always wanted one & thought it be fun. Then I look at the prices for a good one / necessary accessories & realize I can buy a nice REAL firearm &:usually go that route
DNP Posted November 14, 2021 Report Posted November 14, 2021 Compressors are good, but worth buying a higher end one that will get the job done faster and hit the higher PSI. My dad had a guy down the street who shoots one competitively and refills his tanks for him. We have the benefit of having a few scuba shops around, but some of the places aren’t willing to take the tanks all the way up. You can get thousands deep into these things in a hurry.
DNP Posted November 14, 2021 Report Posted November 14, 2021 Be sure to read the details on the pump. You have to be there baby sitting it. Don’t use in high humidity. 30 minute fill on a 6.8L tank. If you get one and find it working out well, be sure to post back.
Belt Fed Posted November 15, 2021 Author Report Posted November 15, 2021 The guy said it took about a minute and half to fill the tank on the gun with the compressor. no clue what size it is. If it takes 30 minutes to fill that small tank i don't want one. i wouldn't sink a lot in it anyway, the gun is right at 300 and that compressor is the same. i figure after you buy extra belts and maybe an extra mag you'd have 700 in it. the belts looked easy to load in the mag.
DNP Posted November 15, 2021 Report Posted November 15, 2021 You’ll want a couple of those smaller tanks, or one big one to recharge the smaller one with. Then you only have to sit through that 30 minutes every so often and can refill the little tank a good handful of times.
DNP Posted December 18, 2021 Report Posted December 18, 2021 My dad’s Dreamline. He added a longer barrel to it. .25 cal. Been a blast so far.
Belt Fed Posted December 18, 2021 Author Report Posted December 18, 2021 Wow, that is nice. is it semi or bolt.
