History class would have been far more interesting if there was more focus on people like this than memorizing dates of things.

I heard a good one on the radio the other day. There’s a lot of great men (and probably women too) who are retired…who would make excellent teachers and maybe earn a few extra bucks, or just be volunteers. Would you want a 20 something liberal minded twat who has only studied and never “done” teaching your kids, or someone with a life full of experience and know how?  Keep that in mind all of you retired guys. You are so full of knowledge and better qualified than anyone to pass lessons like these down to the future of our country.

Nailed it, one of the root causes of our problems today, the wisdom of age has been separated from the energy of youth, someone else wants that energy................
