Guess I should have started here first. I am a new DPMS owner, I live in west central Illinois. Just got the itch to buy this gun. First assault type weapon I have owned. Love the reports I have read about the accuracy of it..Long range capabilities. I am a big fan of smokeless muzzle loaders and have built a couple on Savage actions and another Encore. These things shoot 2600 up to 3000 fps.Now I am interested in this DPs thing also..cant wait to start tinkering with it. So now that I have posted a couple times  Thought maybe I should regain my manners and intro myself. Thanks for the replies thus far

Welcome brother Drop I'm in northwest indiana hope you'll excuse me but AR type IMO is a better way then assault type among gun types like here no biggy, but fodder for anti-gun types nothing personal brother.

OK Ar type..never even thought... my bad... Aint even got this one trimmed out and thinking about another later on. Need to get some things and learn how to reload ... I cant afford $100 everytime I want to go to the range...lol
