I purchased a  side charging BCA10 chambered in 6.5 creedmoor last february.  The seller is an FFL and built the rifle from Bear Creek Arsenal parts, but forgot, lost or didn't receive the bolt catch.  Instead of making a big deal and hassle, I told him no worries and i'd just order a bolt catch and install it myself.  I finally got a chance to install it and it doesn't fit, and based on what I've seen, I don't know that anything would fit other than a part direct from BCA.  The builder and I have contacted them and don't seem to be a lot of help.  They're requiring a receipt and won't sell me a bolt catch outright due to "supply and liability issues."   It's just a bolt catch, this doesn't seem like something to argue over.

The lady at BCA I talked to yesterday said that it's a "DPMA GEN 1 DESIGN LOWER" but that doesn't stop BCA from customizing the part, does it?  I mean, I just thought that primarily meant the curve of the grip.

I've attached a picture of where the bolt catch should be.  It looks like there should be some sort of additional nub on the bolt catch?

Please help.  Any suggestions or compatible aftermarket references appreciated

I don't know a thing about the side charger stuff but ran into something very similar when I tried to get a bolt catch from Ruger since their receiver matched my Matrix, no dice, serial number or no catch, the ill fitting catch I used did break leading to a thread here with lots of measurements on lots of different bolt catches, if you can figure out what size you're looking for then you might find something there.

Not sure where the thread is but someone else had need of the same type bolt catch. They found one somewhere.

If you search bolt catch threads you should find it.

There are a ton of bolt catch threads.  Any suggestions as to what key word could I use?

Just like the pic above. Which is sorta what I figured. Looks like you need that piece and probably just about any bolt catch.
