Non-Monolithic Rail and means to clamp to upper

Has anyone found a low profile style picatinny rail clamp that could be used to keep the upper receiver and handguard lined up?

My LMT doesn't have this problem nor does my POF, however my DPMS does.

Is this truly a DPMS or is it the Tactical Superiority lower you were asking about?  If it is DPMS, is it an original DPMS or is it a new Palmetto State version of DPMS?  They are different and possibly not compatible.

How about a scope ring straddling the seam between the upper and the handguard until you get the handguard tightened down?
