BLKSHEEP
I would like some suggestions for scope mounts, my set up is a lwrc/repr (20") with a weaver 3-15x50mm scope/BC flip caps. I've read that the Larue's are very good, what other brands/models should be on the short list? what height will I need to clear the rear iron sight & front rail? (staying as low as possible) for future sake would I need the 20moa cant to reach the 1k mark? the scope has 28 mrad's of total adjustment. I leaning towards a QD.http://swfa.com/Weaver-3-15x50-Tactical-30mm-Rifle-Scope-P49448.aspx Thanks for the input <thumbsup>

Timing
Don't forget to also look at ADM for your mount. Every bit as good as or better than the other. I personally like their version of the throw levers the best.

Thanks, I ordered the ADM RECON 20moa, $85 less than LaRue <thumbsup> https://www.primaryarms.com/American_Defense_ADRECON_30MM_20_MOA_Moun_p/ad-recon-30-20moa.htm

NYresq
And the ADM wont chewmup your rails if you take it off and on with any frequency. The Larue cam has a tendancy to wear away at the rail as it rides under and locks up. The ADM only squeezes between the side plates. After seeing the damage done to a rail with a couple different larue accessory mounts, I sold them and swapped them all to ADM QR mounts. outkastsl
Thanks, I ordered the ADM RECON 20moa, $85 less than LaRue <thumbsup> https://www.primaryarms.com/American_Defense_ADRECON_30MM_20_MOA_Moun_p/ad-recon-30-20moa.htmThat's where I ordered mine. That mount is solid and the throw levers work great with the lock and is easily adjustable to ensure that your zero stays put (for the most part).
