Guest LLArms Posted February 18, 2012 Report Posted February 18, 2012 I don't work on large enough (which goes to the ma chineshop anyhow) stuff to warrant an actual drill press, but I do need one on occasion for small projects (like holes for rails on various weapons).Dremels are like the best thing since sliced bread:
Robocop1051 Posted February 18, 2012 Report Posted February 18, 2012 I have that exact same set-up. Owned it for years, and still haven't used it. It has become a mini coat rack for random desk items.I do, however, use my dremmel like it's 8 year old in a 3rd world Nike factory.
MaDuce Posted February 19, 2012 Report Posted February 19, 2012 LOL. I personally would go with this thing:http://vanda-layindustries.com/html/acra_mill_plus.html

Guest LLArms Posted February 20, 2012 Report Posted February 20, 2012 I posted it near the vice so I can handle any angle I need. :)
MaDuce Posted February 20, 2012 Report Posted February 20, 2012 LOL. That's an interesting way to protect a receiver in a vice.

So I cut it in half and there you have it. Worked perfectly. I mean really - has me considering why I want to waste the money on leather now. <laughs>
98Z5V Posted February 23, 2012 Report Posted February 23, 2012 A Roto-Zip mounted right beside it would do it proud. You can tear poop up with a Roto-Zip. <thumbsup>

It's covered in rat urine and droppings and has been sitting in a wood pile for over a month now but can probably be cleaned up. I can get it cleaned up to some degree before shipping. Someone gave it to me in exchange for knife service. I used it mainly for making leather pallets out of until a relative of mine got a hold of it and left it in the worst possible place. It's still useable though. If I weren't a germ-a-phoebe I would still be using it.
