It's not "news" anymore, when we were already discussing it in another thread much earlier. 

GearScout broke the story on the 18th, and we were talking about it right after that.  This thread started on the 22nd.  Not news.  Not by then.  <dontknow>

Like 98 said, many of us got the email directly from Mega (or Dave Bransen) on the same day. It was sad news, but I'm sure that whatever Mega comes out with, will be worth it.

This could have been a great opportunity to release something off the charts. A simple "poor us, we can't sell our product because of the big corp lawyers" business ploy might be at work here. We all take Mega's side and poo-poo the big mean LMT. Meanwhile Mega releases a product others may have ignored otherwise, because it was too "new" and unknown.
