I have enjoyed the AR platform for more years then I like to think of. The 308 Win./7.62 x 51 has always been my first choice in the platform. Starting with ArmaLite AR-10a 16” for years, trading that off for my POF P308 20”. Sometime back I added a Stag Mod. 5, 6.8 cut to 14 ¼” adding a pined Surefire muzzle brake QD. That done for an added goody of .30 cal. if uncle sugar ever gives me his blessing? If this photo thing works, the target is at 300 yards, first shot cold clean, that’s the hole in the red dot.
