Hello:

Been lurking here a bit and joined a short while ago.  Recently purchased a Bushmaster LR-308.  Have owned several AR-15's over the years and this is first go with a larger platform AR.  Seems to be a good community with a lot of good info here.

Thank you. I want to post a couple pics in some other threads but it appears I'll have to resize them as they were taken with my iPhone and the file size is too large. 

Speaking of which, does anyone know of any "forum apps" that support this forum.  Tapatalk doesn't appear to work with it.

Welcome to the forums Jeff! The LR308 designation is a DPMS trademark, is there any chance your rifle is the Hunter or ORC model? Be sure to post up pics of the beast, we like our gun porn around here.

I assume it was bought as an ORC or MOE model.  Receiver is marked LR-308.  It has a 16" chrome lined barrel with Bushmaster markings.  The gas system is mid-length.  Previous owner installed a Daniel Defense 9.0 Lite Rail, ACS stock, YHM gas block with incorporated flip up front sight.  It has a Magpul rear sight, MOE grip and MOE trigger guard.  He also replaced the buffer with a hydraulic unit that I saw on midway's site but can't recall the brand.  I hope that helps.  I will get some pics up ASAP. 

Most importantly: it seems to shoot very well and functions great lol.
