EasyEJL
they look kind of interesting, sort of inbetween some of the more "sniper" oriented and the standard buttstocks. The cheek rest section doesn't move even while the shoulder part does.
mrraley
ArmaLite is putting it on their LE version AR-10.http://www.armalite.com/ItemForm.aspx?item=LE10A4CBA2F&ReturnUrl=Categories.aspx?Category=f4bd4a13-55d1-41aa-aea0-49488ec48776
blue109
Read a big collapsable stock comparison somewhere. Can probably google it easy. The UBR was unbreakable..most of the magpul and vltor stocks held up well....that ergo was at the bottom of the pile. Was useless after the first drop. Robocop1051
I don't think the design is wrong. Even Ergo mentions that they were looking at new polymers to strengthen the stock. I feel Ergo is notorious for using Hasbro-ish GI Joe plastic. It's strong, but brittle. The bonus of the Magpul polymer is that it has a little flex to it. I really liked the M93/F93 design. I just think the product would have faired better under Magpul QC. If you can find the old M93 stocks, they run $$$$$!
mrraley
If you can find the old M93 stocks, they run $$$$$! I managed to get 2 of them... 1 on my current M-15 carbine and 1 in the drawer as a spare.

98Z5V
I thought magpul bought the design from them and just made it work? It ended up being the UBR.MagPul made the M93 - it was their first buttstock. The extension/locking design was refined, and ultimately turned into the UBR. MagPul didn't re-release the M93 after they launched the UBR, and they sold the design rights to Ergo, who produces it as the F93. <thumbsup>
