sillbeer Posted February 24, 2013 Report Posted February 24, 2013 Hey all,I pieced together a RRA AR15 a few years ago and really lost interest in it. I sold it last year, kind of wish I wouldn't have but oh well. About 2 years ago I picked up a DPMS LR308 stripped lower receiver. It sat in a box forever collecting dust until about 3 months ago. I've been doing a lot of reading on different forums on parts and pieces and stumbled upon this site.So far for my build I have the following.LR308 lower receiver with stock DPMS lower parts kit.Stock trigger for nowMagpul MOE gripDPMS upper receiver minus BCGPWS Enhanced buffer tubeMagpul CTR stockJP Enterprises silent bufferJP Enterprises low mass BCG on orderFulton Armory Krieger Criterion 18.5" barrelParts I'm contemplating on and still need.Troy TRX handguardSyrac Ordnance adjustable gas blockRifle length gas tubeLarue LT104 scope mountUndecided on which muzzle brake to useFor the scope i'm still undecided. I was thinking the Leupold Mark AR 4-12 power since it's a really light scope but recently started looking at the Trijicon 5-20 power Accupoint.Overall for the build i'm shooting for a lightweight all around rifle.Any thoughts on the overall build or suggestions welcome.Thanks,- Destin

EasyEJL Posted February 25, 2013 Report Posted February 25, 2013 nice set of choices there. I'm still up in the air on a scope for mine as well. With the whole build having ballooned so far over original budget as it has, i'm trying to figure out what is a worthwhile inexpensive scope to get for at least the time being.
