I just realized that you are only talking about cam pins.

Call them up and set something up as a biz account.

And if you are making them for the .308, you can sign me up for 2 of them!!!

Dave, I was gonna recommend the same thing, when I saw your initial post.  WMD Guns does NiB coating, which would be my suggestion for a part that has so much movement.  <thumbsup>

It kills me to have a complete NiB .308 BCG, except for the Cam...

I bought a full auto AR15 BCG made by WMDGUNS. I use it in my 300Blk. The entire BCG is NiB coated. They do some phenomenal work.

i called them just now..they dont do Moly and the  price per piece for nickel boron is almost as much as we bid the job for...ive googled companys locally that might b able to do the Moly and only found one and mailed them a sample so i im still searching till i find a reliable coating service...theres tons of manufactures making AR-15 cam pins but there not gunna say where and i dont blame them...

Dave's parts are above reproach.  Trust me on this guys.  I have a whooooooole lot of his stuff, for testing and R&D.  It's everything it needs to be, and then some.  I'll have a writeup coming soon.  <thumbsup>

That's very smart - excellent coating to battle the effects of the corrosive ammo.  Nitro-carburizing ("melonite" treatment) is another excellent coating to help against corrosive ammo.  Look into that, too, Dave.  <thumbsup>

Personally, I would LOVE to have a TiN coated firing pin on my 7.62x39 build.

My dumbass got the MGI enhanced bolt, with the extra wide tip firing pin. I'd love to score a new pin and send it somewhere to get TiN'd

how thick is the NiB coating? is it thick enough that if you are going to machine BCG parts, you would need to leave room for the thickness of the coating so that you dont end up too tight?

Very thin.  Should be around 0.0005" to 0.001" and no more.
