planeflyer21 Posted May 4, 2013 Report Posted May 4, 2013 Alright, to review... Purchaser buys POS H-308, jam-o-matic at the range, returns it to Hogan, who sends it back a bit easier to take down but still jamming and FTE. Purchaser takes it into Hogan and leaves it for a few hours, returns and Hogan claims it's all good. Now. Go to the range today and Hogan fixed it...fixed it so now it jams every single round. I told him I'd write him a letter and he went to Sportsman's where he purchased it, to let them know it's a big piece of crap. Sportsman's has a policy of never returning firearms but will ship to the manufacturer for free for a month. Being well past a month, he was surprised when Brooke offered to exchange the rifle! He took a NIB Bushmaster ACR, six extra magazines, then went to another store and picked up a few extra more (don't know where he learned that behavior). We'll give a range report after next week! FCUK HOGAN!!! Jon
planeflyer21 Posted May 4, 2013 Author Report Posted May 4, 2013 The owner was shaking he was so pissed off...and he's big. He wouldn't need to fcuk 'em in the neck because he would have already clamped it shut, then off with his fist. Jon
Goofball310 Posted May 5, 2013 Report Posted May 5, 2013 I read that story on a AZ forum. He was able to trade for a Sig 716. http://www.arizonashooting.com/v3/viewtopic.php?f=10&t=173657 Unless it's a completely different similar story.
blue109 Posted May 5, 2013 Report Posted May 5, 2013 Different story....same crappy rifle and service.
planeflyer21 Posted May 5, 2013 Author Report Posted May 5, 2013 What gets me is the owner's condescending attitude...like none of Hogan's customers have any experience with working firearms. Douche bag flush needs to be shot at, with only one of his crap rifles to fire back with. Jon
Goofball310 Posted May 8, 2013 Report Posted May 8, 2013 Wow, that really sucks. I was considering doing a build with one of their lowers.
planeflyer21 Posted May 8, 2013 Author Report Posted May 8, 2013 If you're doing the building, I don't see how it could come out the same or worse. It fully appears the whole issue is Hogan's rendition of a "short-stroke". On the customer, not the piston. Jon
