OFP2651
Has anyone here dealt with them? They have some pretty serious claims that 3/4 of all tactical competition shooters use their rifles and that 3/4 of all the medaling places are taken used with their rifles. http://www.gaprecision.net/ Just wondering if anyone has had any dealings with them. planeflyer21
"3/4 of all Tactical Competition shooters"? I'd ask for clarification on that one. Of all the people I know that do competition in various "tactical" areas, I have never heard of them. Jon
imschur
They are one of the best.
Goofball310
I've never dealt with them personally but my brother bought a GAP-10 when they were still using DPMS lowers. The rifle was built extremely well and accuracy was top notch. They are also 1 of 3 AR (GAP, Larue, and Christensen) manufacturers that I know of that "guarantee" a sub MOA gun out of the box. Their new rifles are now built on a POF/Hogan platform. Edited May 10, 2013 by Goofball310
OFP2651
Ok, they aren't all that far (<2hrs) from where I call home, so I am going to stop by and see if I can get some information from them on maybe making my rifle a bit more accurate; maybe the possibility of putting a Syrac adjustable gas block on it. Would be nice to switch from regular to suppressed gas systems the Novenke switch back says it can do, but with the added twist of personal adjustments. "3/4 of all Tactical Competition shooters"? I'd ask for clarification on that one. Of all the people I know that do competition in various "tactical" areas, I have never heard of them. Jon As for clarification they did say "3 out of 4" on their website, I tried to shorten it.
Matt.Cross
I've spoken with George, not a whole lot but enough to be impressed with what a nice, knowledgeable guy he is. I wouldn't hesitate to use their services for anything.
