SwissyJim Posted August 16, 2013 Report Posted August 16, 2013 so this summer, I had a friend come up for the 2nd year in a row. Some may recognize the name... Tony Rumore of Tromix fame. Big name in Saiga12 circles, as well as .458 SoCom AR's. ANYWAYS... he and a buddy came up to go halibut fishing, and on our last day we caught a rather prehistoric looking Wolf Eel Strange thing is they like rocky bottoms with lots of cover. The area we fish is all flat, muddy bottoms. I think I need to investigate the area and see if there is a rock spire or something we have not seen.
washguy Posted August 16, 2013 Report Posted August 16, 2013 Halibut.....damn fine eating fish...my fav....this one here....yuk! :) Wash
shepp Posted August 18, 2013 Report Posted August 18, 2013 Cool fish I've seen video/pictures of them before thought they were normally gray?
98Z5V Posted January 1, 2014 Report Posted January 1, 2014 Damn, I'm more jealous of your "fishing company" than the strange bastard you guys caught! That's awesome!!!
