Need some help, Ar pistol barrel question.

Need some help here guys, Mainly in the barrel department. I've narrowed down my choices to either a 10.5" barrel or 11.5". I found a 11.5 at brownells, it is manufactured by Doublestar. I am not familiar with this manufacturer, are they good to go? My main attraction to this barrel assembly is that of the pinned FSB that is included. 

 

I'm lookin at the HBAR 11.5" setup.

I have mentioned on here a couple times about a 300BlK build, I decided to not go through with this caliber. I have owned an ar15 in 300blk and reloaded for it,  was cool but 556 is a little more practical for how much I shoot in normal times.

Doublestar is a good company, man.  That's a nice looking pistol barrel, but you don't really need the heavy barrel contour on something so short.  That A1 profile would do you fine, too.  They're both the same price.

 

Bravo Company has their hammer forged 11.5" barrel in stock for $299 right now.  On my 11.5" pistol build, I used the BCM standard barrel, which has performed excellently thus far.

Thanks, I didn't see that barrel listed on BCM website. But I am trying to get around paying out extra for pinning services for the FSB. I would be all over the a1 profile in the link I provided, last time I checked it was sold out.

 

My goal is something around 250$ with fsb installed.

Daniel Defense sells pistol barrels that come with a pinned FSB. IMHO DD makes one of the best bang-for-your-$$$ barrels.

All DD barrels are made the same quality.... Good! There is no high, mid and low, like other companies.

DD also has their Gov profile barrels which are super popular.

Doublestar is C quality at best. I suggest Stag, YHM or MI before Doublestar

Doublestar is OK... But they did have some Q C issues a couple of years ago.

I know a guy in PA who makes barrels, I will get his contact info. Great prices on ar pistol barrels.

I picked up an ICE Arms 11.5 barrel and I really like it. I have an LMT 10.5 on my Duty Weapon and a LMT 10.5 on a personal AR. All three are great barrels.
