Black rain receiver build q's

Ok ove never built a 308 ar or an ar15 . I do however possess the skills needed to do it .what i need to know from the experienced builders is the following : compatabilty of parts with the black rain receivers .

1 . Barrels

2 lower parts

3 upper parts such as bolts/gas tube

Thx in advance for the help . Im trying to price the stuff i will need

Just build it as if it was a DPMS patterned 308 and you'll be just fine. Plenty of parts to be found. Just keep looking for the decent deals. They pop up all the time. Oh, and welcome to the board sr and steele.

 

Keep your eyes on some of these guys around here. They'll entice you to dump your retirement account just to build that next AR. <laughs>

didnt see an upper reciever vise block for a 308..you already have one?

nor a barrel wrench you got one? torque wrench?

so your rain coming to you stripped...I thought they already have dust cover installed with takedown pins?

so, with the bull 24" barrel and prs stock do you know are you going to end up with a very heavy piece?

what do you plan on doing with this rifle other than lugging it to a bench?
