Matt.Cross
Who ever painted this machine should be shot!http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kvnKSfDUCWY That's a point-cut rifling machine, it's far more time intensive than button rifling but yields a better quality barrel. The paint scheme isn't that bad, at least to me.

Dane Armory
Didn't watch the whole video but that is just the riifling process. Chambering and profiling are two more steps and then there is threading !
survivalshop
Looked to me that the blue parts move & the green do not , Maybe for safety ?

Chambering and profiling are two more steps and then there is threading ! AND drilling the bore out to begin with. I saw a "cookie" once cut from a huge battleship barrel, it was probally an inch thick and you could see the whole profile, makes you appreciate the work and skill that goes into a weapon. Ben Diss
Like the colors. You can really see the crud and swarf that falls into the yellow catch bin. What are those guys doing wearing long sleeves running that machine and why is the second guy carrying blue jeans while standing next to it? texas30cal
Long sleeves generally not a good idea around manuals, at least button the cuffs, and that lead screw is pretty far down out of the way. That old machine looks to be in excellent shape, I am positive it has had a rebuild, if that thing was built today OSHA would make them cover damn near everything with guards!
