Cali_Ed Posted January 31, 2014 Report Posted January 31, 2014 I just about jizzed my self when i got a hold it. Such a beautiful rifle. I have you guys played with one?
Rsquared Posted January 31, 2014 Report Posted January 31, 2014 Yep. My son has one. It's a nice piece of equipment.
Rsquared Posted February 1, 2014 Report Posted February 1, 2014 As you should. My son, Jon by the way (different Jon), loves his. And it's a great shooting rifle. It is a badass piston rifle.
Cali_Ed Posted February 1, 2014 Author Report Posted February 1, 2014 What does it run i wanna compare the price to my local shop
Cali_Ed Posted February 1, 2014 Author Report Posted February 1, 2014 That did my local shop wants 5500
Rsquared Posted February 1, 2014 Report Posted February 1, 2014 Granted, he bought that almost 2 years ago. BUT, if you follow along, I (we) stumble into my local gun pusher quite often over the last couple of years. He gives us pretty fair deals. He knows what I (we) like, and he supplies us. Not that I'm saying that he's the best deal around sometimes. But we support him........and therefore.....he gives us special deals. At least I like to think so. He hasn't let us down yet. For this area of course.
unforgiven Posted February 1, 2014 Report Posted February 1, 2014 (edited) They are a badass rifle here's one http://xtremegunsandammo.com/lwrc-repr-od-green-308-20.html 3k is a great deal. Edited February 1, 2014 by unforgiven
Rsquared Posted February 1, 2014 Report Posted February 1, 2014 You're right Rene. It is a badass rifle. I tried to tell my boy to get the SBR version also (at the time....along with his standard upper). They don't offer it anymore. Either way. It's still a sweet-assed rig. I'm glad the boy got it when he did.
unforgiven Posted February 1, 2014 Report Posted February 1, 2014 I thought I saw at one time they had a package deal of 20" & 16" barrel for .308 Reper.I was close to getting one,I liked it so much. Was to much money. At that time it was $3500.00 for one in color. That FDE is sweet. That rifle w/suppressor would be the s h i t.
Rsquared Posted February 1, 2014 Report Posted February 1, 2014 Too much is only the beginning my brother. LWRC is some pricey stuff. Why do you think he only got the standard rifle? <laughs> BUT......it does run pretty good while suppressed. I can personally vouch for that. AND....it cleans up pretty easy...........for what it's worth.
unforgiven Posted February 1, 2014 Report Posted February 1, 2014 Put away the fishing rod brother :ugone2far: Just sayin. <laughs>
BLKSHEEP Posted February 1, 2014 Report Posted February 1, 2014 Yeah mine was $3300 there^^^ 2 years ago (20" model) A LGS wanted $4999.00 back then <laughs> Here's another http://www.northwesttactical.us.com/store/rifles-and-lower-receivers.html?color=17&manufacturer=23&price=4%2C1000 $3000.00 would be a steal :yup:
unforgiven Posted February 1, 2014 Report Posted February 1, 2014 I think they are hard to find cause everyone wants them.
Rsquared Posted February 1, 2014 Report Posted February 1, 2014 All kidding aside. Those are nice rifle's. Are they pricey? Yes. Are they quality built rifles? Yes. LWRCI is no slouch when it comes to AR style rifles. 7.62 or 5.56 varieties. They make nice equipment.
Rsquared Posted February 1, 2014 Report Posted February 1, 2014 They've also backed waaaaaayyyyy off in their civilian market I believe.
BLKSHEEP Posted February 1, 2014 Report Posted February 1, 2014 They've also backed waaaaaayyyyy off in their civilian market I believe. Yep and this probably isn't their only military contract.... "In Feb of 2012 LWRCI signed a $109 million dollar 18 month contract with the Government of Saudi Arabia, sanctioned by the U.S. Department of State and U.S. Congress. This is the largest direct commercial to foreign government sale of firearms in the history of the ATF Exports Branch."
shibiwan Posted February 1, 2014 Report Posted February 1, 2014 Dang... for $5,000 you could buy a 50 cal. :D
Rsquared Posted February 1, 2014 Report Posted February 1, 2014 That's why I'm glad that my boy got the rifle he has when he did. It is a FINE piece of engineering.
Cali_Ed Posted February 11, 2014 Author Report Posted February 11, 2014 I bet the guys in that shop are wondering if I'm ever going to buy anything. I'm in there all the time drooling and fondling the goods lol
Dane Armory Posted February 12, 2014 Report Posted February 12, 2014 The hook is already baited... You will bite soon !
