shibiwan
With an FFL, do you automatically get the right to possess and shoot full-auto machine guns etc.? With an Type-7 FFL plus the right SOT stamp, the company can manufacture any NFA weapon, which will then be "owned" by the company until it gets sold/transferred. The fun parts is that we get to shoot them or have them available to shoot as demo items, as long as we are there to supervise. :D Edited May 18, 2014 by shibiwan

Manufacture, but not purchase from a manufacturer?
shibiwan
Manufacture, but not purchase from a manufacturer? That's an option too since the FFL also covers retail operations.

survivalshop
The manufacture of transferable NFA weapons ( to individuals ) stopped in May of 1986. Manufacture is for dealer sample or LE Dept. use only . That is unless you use a pre may of 1986 registered NFA receiver/frame .

Nothing new can be manufactured after May 1986, unless it's for law enforcement or military, ONLY. No "Citizens." You can manufacture brand new full-auto weapons, but the only people you can sell them to are on-duty LEOs and MIL. As a "Citizen," if you want a full-auto weapon, you need to find something that was manufactured prior to the 19 May 86 cutoff date. That date or before. SBRs, suppressors, SBSs - you can do all that. Just no full-auto for citizens, unless you find an old (VERY EXPENSIVE) firearm.
