survivalshop Posted June 11, 2014 Report Share Posted June 11, 2014 The AR 15 family , ( as far as forged receivers , not sure how Billet receivers fair ) they are all MilSpec. & have a excellent chance of matching up functionally . I would not interchange 308 AR Manufacturers uppers & lowers & its not just an Armilite ,DPMS thing , I have seen that tolerance stacking can interfere with proper function , when using different manufactures for the Receivers, just my experience. Too many fix's tweaks or things just not working , when they do in other rifles with matching components.
