Will RRA LAR-8 internals fit Mega upper and lower

I own a Rock River Lar-8 but I want to change the upper and lower because I don't like the rra lower. Will the mega maten billet upper and lower except the internals from the rra lower and will the maten except the bolt carrier from the rra upper? Thanks for the help

Lower internals should be good to go, but the bcg is unknown. What is known is that it does except both Armalite and DPMS bcg. Now I believe (but am a bit unsure) that RRA bcg is longer.

No.

 

The LAR-8 BCG is substantially longer and so is the upper receiver to accomodate.  Almost an inch.

ok, will the barrel from the rra lar-8 mate to the ma-ten upper?

Maybe, but it won't do you any good if the bolt won't fit in another carrier. I know your trying to save some money, but the RRA isn't a good donor platform

Just finished putting a LAR-8 together. Edgecrusher and Blue109 are correct. You can't even use other brand magazines.

I'm going to sell the Lar-8 and get the Dpms gen II recon. After consideration, I'm going to keep the Lar-8 but thanks for all your info.
