What kind of smoker?

I brought this up to my step dad after reading this thread the other day.  I told him I wanted to get into smoking instead of just grilling and he showed me this:

Actually told me he was thinking about asking me to help him build one.  I told him as long as he helps me build mine at my house also.

you dont use a regulator since its regulated at the gas meter

I think it's around 7 pounds don't quote me on that

BOOOOOM ! ng is measured in water inches.....I would think that the pressure set for your grill,that is if it doesn't have a regulator would work with the proper orifice of a new smoker converted to ng

Hahah yes it is, I only deal with it in the winter lol I've got a meter in my van for it so excuse me 7 in wc

I do know the furnaces I work on have to be 3-3.6 in wc

Hi Edge Much needed rain all day...calling for rain tonite...man we need this...trying to go to the range tomorrow,but they got hammered 50 miles north.....My bestest friend that I helped him assemble 4 ar's

Greg what did you have done?   hate to tell you this....but I had double knee replacements on the same day..... on day 31 I was climbing ladders at work...but im stooopid too....  :)  Wash

 

its all in the rehab...if they say gimme 10 of this...give em 20....if they say gimme 5...give em 10...pain is pain but its worth it...

Hemi this is the thermometer I was telling you about. Since my smoke controls heat digitally I use both probs for meat, but has two probs "one for meat one for smoker temp" then you can bring the remote read out in the house or garage or gun work station and keep an eye on things.
