Microgunner
We've got a vintage Gibson 335ES TD tobacco sunbiurst ser# 760xxx MADE IN USA for sale. It's got square fret inlays and a trapeez tail piece (no tremelo) and original case. The guitar is in very good condition. As far as I can tell it was mfg somewhere between 1966 and 1972. Any insights you can offer would be helpful. How much should we ask for it? Just noticed I wrote guiter, DOH! AdamO
Just based on a quick ebay search, Depending on the condition it could go for anywhere from 4-10K. Even the modern re-issues go for 3K-ish. FWIW, I'll just leave this right here.... http://www.ebay.com/itm/1959-Gibson-ES-335-Vintage-Sunburst-PAFs-55-HD-Images-Scroll-Down-/161421292688 Edit: Here is some info you might find useful in grading how desirable your particular guitar is. http://home.provide.net/~cfh/es335.html Edited October 10, 2014 by AdamO

planeflyer21
Sad to say brother MG that lots of fakes have been mistaken for authentic, which is what it seems like you have. You see, the Japanese discovered they could transport items no larger than a bass fiddle back in time a few years back, and immediately began flooding our American past with these fakes. I feel for you...so I will give you $84 American Greenbacks and take this off your hands...because I care.

Microgunner
After more research we've decided, because of serial number, features and label color, it was probably mfg between 1970-1972.
