TenRingKing
Since my range max distance is 200 yards and my rifle is a short barrel,14.5, not really a long range package, never saw a need for a heavy bullet. Have had great results with 100gr Lapua HP, 110gr Sierra, 125gr Lapua FMJ, 135gr Sierra Match King. All work great and a lot less recoil. My fav is the 100gr Lapua. 392heminut
This is what I use for plinkers, for both 308 and 300 BLK; https://www.wideners.com/itemdetail.cfm?item_id=7238&dir=278|281|1079|1090|1727
Cali_Ed
These are the kinds that need a crimp brother?
392heminut
I usually put a little crimp on mine with a Lee Factory Crimp die. I crimp for any magazine fed gun.
TenRingKing
That is what makes the 308 such a great round to load, 100gr to 200gr and they all preform.
