Rifle length buffer is usually ok as long as it is for 308AR. The H3 is a carbine buffer.

The first question is how much does your buffer weigh? -
The thicker barrel will make a difference in the size of the hole needed. @98Z5V is the one who can calculate what difference that is. Don't drill until he can get back to it.

A quick search of those rounds shows that the Freedom Munitions may be FMJ and the Norma may be a soft point . I measured a soft point vs. FMJ. The soft point was 2.755" and the FMJ was 2.890".

Another Amazon series that we watched recently was the Wheel of Time. It is a good series if you you like sci-fi/fantasy shows. There are many places that it is similar to Lord of the Rings and Game of Thrones.
