  1. That looks awesome! nice piece of wood.
  2. If I hear anything back from them, I will let you know.
  3. Can it be reloaded? If so how? I like the idea of the lighter weight, interesting concept but will it catch on? I sent PCP a email to see if I can get some samples and additional information. I believe manufacturing cost is going to be a determining factor of retail price.
  4. I am sure in time, someone will make a polymer adapter, yes the weight on this rifle is up there, the way mine is set up right now weighed in at 12.2 lbs , thats no joke! send me a can and I'll let you know ;D No cans to be had here, just what walks around the house and whats in the fridge!
  5. <lmao> I hear you bro!
  6. From what I have been reading around on different sites, I am hearing that the weapon is functioning with the 308 buffer with 5.56 uppers. I have yet to hear any issues resulting in this configuration, if I hear otherwise will let you know. Now I want the adapter just to see if the 308 buffer does work with the 5.56 upper. Just need to figure out how to get one. Guess will have to call Colt up and find out how much they want for one.
  7. Thats a good deal, is it reloadable? non corrosive?, If it is non reloadable I do not even look at it.
  8. I do not plan on switching my uppers, I wanted a .308 single purpose rifle, I have other .223/5.56 rifles to use if needed, I can see that it is a nice feature but for me it does not matter if I have the adapter or not.
  9. Here is a video of how it is put together
  10. Here is a picture of the upper adapter.
  11. I still get that from my mother and I am 42!! " No Ma, really...I'm in the middle of something!!"
  12. Brokeness? you mean you didn't get a stimulus package from Obama?
  13. The rifle was not supplied with either the conversion block for the mag well nor the upper reciever adapter, I did try to fit a 6940 upper on the lower and it matches up to the rear pin but the way the front pin is designed it sits much lower on the lower receiver and is at a angle, so you would need the adapter in order to secure a 5.56 upper. From what I had seen if you do install a 5.56 upper when removing the rear td pin and folding the upper forward space is very limited, might only be able to remove the BCG. I am surprised that Colt did not ship the adapters with these rifles, maybe since it was the first run that was shipped may have played a part in it, also I have no idea how to even order them, no information was provided by Colt.
  14. Only have the two that came with the rifle at this time, unsure if standard 20LR Pmags will work, these are "Colt Enhanced 20LR Mags" whatever that means and have a seperate product number, plus my distributor does not have any standard 20LR mags on hand so can not check to see if these will work or if their is a difference. If anyone can chime in that might have more knowledge please do.
  15. <laughs> <laughs> <laughs> <thumbsup>
  16. Added a few items to the 901, thing is heavy, 12lbs with no ammo in mag. Need a good Sling and a trigger and I'm done. Here are a few pics.... And Robo it's ok, I know you're a hater! 17. I have an older Dillon Square Deal for sale, had this in my garage and it has surface rust on the primer tube and the shell plate( My fault, I'm an Swollen Rectum for not taking care of it), I'm sure it will clean up with a wire wheel, I don't have the time to mess with it so I would rather just sell it as is. The press has little reload time on it and comes with a set of 9mm Dillon dies, I also have a parts kit that goes with the press. Price is $250.00 obo and buyer pays the actual shipping, I would need your zip code to give a quote. If anyone is intrested send me a message. Any questions feel free to ask. I was going to send it back to Dillon to have it restored, I believe they quoted me $35.00 to restore it, but that was a couple of years ago.
