I deal with some of the largest distributors in the country, when I can not order a box of 22's from any of them things are BAD!! I order ammo for my department also and I can not get anything for them either...

Just broke down and order a Giraud Case annealing system, 4-6 week wait... debated on this for a few months figured for the amount of reloading I do it should payoff in the long run saving brass.

if we could seperate NYC from the rest of the State the rest of us would be much happier... People hear "New York" and first thing that comes to their mind is NYC, NYC is only a small part of New York and the most liberal to boot, the majority of the rest of New York (Upstate) are being held hostage by the liberal vote of NYC and some of the larger cities in the state. Glad to see that our Sheriffs are on the peoples side of the fence.

I use a LNL progressive, been very happy with it and very consistant on the ammo that it produces, I was considering a Dillon 1050 in the near future . I do have a Dillon primer pocket swagger and it works great, would prefer it on the machine hense the 1050.. If you are going to be doing volume reloading like I do for 223 and 308 I would suggest buying a Giraud case trimmer, pricey but well worth every single penny you will spend... I also just ordered one of their Case annealing machines, from what I have been reading they are great also.

Attorney General Eric Holder and his Department of Justice have asked a federal court to indefinitely delay a lawsuit brought by watchdog group Judicial Watch. The lawsuit seeks the enforcement of open records requests relating to Operation Fast and Furious, as required by law. Judicial Watch had filed, on June 22, 2012, a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request seeking all documents relating to Operation Fast and Furious and “specifically [a]ll records subject to the claim of executive privilege invoked by President Barack Obama on or about June 20, 2012.” The administration has refused to comply with Judicial Watch’s FOIA request, and in mid-September the group filed a lawsuit challenging Holder’s denial. That lawsuit remains ongoing but within the past week President Barack Obama’s administration filed what’s called a “motion to stay” the suit. Such a motion is something that if granted would delay the lawsuit indefinitely. Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton said that Holder’s and Obama’s desire to continually hide these Fast and Furious documents is “ironic” now that they’re so gung-ho on gun control. “It is beyond ironic that the Obama administration has initiated an anti-gun violence push as it seeking to keep secret key documents about its very own Fast and Furious gun walking scandal,” Fitton said in a statement.

Matt, you are correct... you can apply for both at the same time... I would try it, they way I see it if you can get your type 01 FFL first this is the most important one then all you have to do is apply for the SOT, but remember you will be paying $500.00 every single year before July 1st to be able to sell NFA firearms. And then you need someone thats willing to buy them, and having a letter to prove an agency would like a demonstration in order to get a Post 86 dealer sample.. Being in Law Enforcement I still wonder if I will be able to make sales to agencies to justify the cost of the SOT..

You need to to have your type 01 FFL before you can apply for a SOT just so you are aware.
