  1. I don't have any pmags but I do have a few cproducts and they seem a little harder to load than my factory DPMS mags. Maybe it's just the couple I have. If I can get em that cheap, yeah I would like to have the name brand
  2. If you can convince them to honor the deal I would be more than happy to buy a couple from you for 20 a piece, I would pay for shipping of course lol ;D
  3. Glad you found us, I'm sure you will get plenty of ideas from the guys here.
  4. So I'm sure I should know this but what are you guys meaning when you say runnin it wet? I know lube but what exactly are you lubing that much?
  5. You never said where you bought it or if you had bought it yet! you just said that is what you were going to get. Sheesh, see if i to help a brother out any more after gettin laughed at like this.
  6. Hey Draco, are you still looking for a 1750?? Look at www.divers-supply.com, they have really good deals on every model of Pelican. You can do a search for divers-supply coupons n usually find a couple too, that's where I got mine. Dustin
  7. I'm lovin my SR Gold trigger from ATC so far
  8. OOOoooo, NOW we're talkin!! oh wait, nvm, I forgot I already have an auto-prime ;D
  9. I would love to, and I might sometime....but right now I don't have the money to spend on it. Unless you are so generously offering to get it done for me.... :o
  10. uh huh, like the bandit you are, I'm sure you would
  11. Me too!! I no longer have anything one order because I got my SR Gold trigger today!! It was easier than a lead pipe cinch to install and it works great. I watched the installation video after I installed it just to make sure all the safety stuff was working ;D
  12. well I would but this isn't the right board for pistol details :P lol I tried posting pictures last night and just now but it won't let me attach any pictures. Drew, fix it!! the pistol is an EAA Witness 40 S&W, 12+1, 4 inch barrel, steel frame, ummm I think that's about it....
  13. wellll, I don't think there's any way you're mistaking my rifle in the case for a guitar. I'm sure it weighs less now that I have the PRS on it instead of the A2 with a weight, but I know it will still be over 20 pounds; more after i get slots cut in for more mags and my EAA Witness I picked up at the gun show.
  14. sounds like a personal problem to me madhouse.....get out there!!!
  15. I got the Pelican 1750 as it is one of only very few that will hold the LR308 without having to break it down. It comes with three full pieces of foam and you cut the center piece out however you want for your rifle, clips, pistol, clips, ect. ect... I found that an electric bread knife worked excellent on the foam as long as you were cutting out a decent size piece, if you are just trimming out a hole you already made the bread knife liked to get stuck and just kinda chew the foam. A nicely honed hunting blade did the trick for trimming out holes though. There are a couple pics of the case with the gun in it here. Lemme know if you want any more or some of a different angle or anything n I will get em for you Draco. Dustin
  16. lol I know what you mean DNP, I just got back home from the Wanenmacher gun show and I broke the bank. Powder (Varget), a sling mount for my rail, some reloading equipment, bullets to reload, primers, a steel target, an EAA Witness .40, and there was soooooo much more that I wanted :'( Walked up to a booth n started talking to a guy about my rifle that I was carrying n pretty soon he asks "you aren't pantherplayer are you?" lol it was Bandit!! great times there. As far as your stock goes, I can't help but suggest getting a Magpul PRS from Botach Defence at their member price. Even if you get it and decide you don't like it I promise you will be able to sell it for more than you pay for it. The gas block will depend on if you want a 4-rail, top rail, low-pro, or another variant; and what you want to attach to it. I would suggest not much since it weighs directly on your barrel. Well there's my two cents....I don't know that I can afford giving it away right now but there it is ;D Dustin
  17. Well, I'm headed to the Wanamacher gun show. Hasta la vista. Dustin
  18. lol nice, I knew you had to much time on your hands but that pretty well seals it. Here is the reply I got from Ammodepot (one of the sites that I like more than most) tech support after I asked them if they had a time frame on restock.....and I quote Nope. They have not made them in over a year. Please call Federal and complain. We need them badly. Michael I thought that was pretty funny, sounds like you are gonna have to be gettin your little telly-phone out n doin some number punchin Drew :P
  19. This topic has been moved because our beloved administrator can't even post his own topics in the right place!! Ammunition. [iurl]http://308forum.com/index.php?topic=258.0[/iurl]
  20. Wellll, you might try doing a search.....jgsales has this and this don't know how much you want but hey, you want it, you got it ;) And it looks like ammodirect has a couple types......or maybe this stuff at cowboyneeds (are you tryin to be a coyboy drew???) n Reedsammo is backordered but accepting so you might check them....I don't know, I'm dont doin YOUR dirty work though. I'm goin to bed!!
  21. Yeah I kinda wish mine was fluted as well Drew.....maybe when/if I ever get a custom barrel.............
  22. No experience personally but I have heard they are lighter.
  23. Since my bolts are long I could easily take out three or so of the carriage bolts on each end and put a sheet of plywood, masonite, whatever I wanted and then drop those three bolts back in and secure my worktop....
  24. I'm just gonna leave the bolts alone unless they become a problem. I was planning to go with some wood filler of some sort in between the boards and then a lacquer or polyurathane. I am putting it the only place I can for right now, down in a little half basement of my duplex. I probably will want a light or two for it but that will come later. I will probably have to run my own power for it down there because I think the only power in the basement is for two small overhead lights, good thing I'm an electrician ;) I know what you mean SW, I manhandled the top down the stairs to get it inside before a storm hit and it's not very builder friendly.
  25. Well I got the top done and most of the boards for the rest of it are cut, I had to get em cut so that I could move everything inside last night because we had a storm coming. Here's what I have done so far, my carriage bolts ended up a liiiittle long since I got them to go through two 2x6's and didn't think about actual board diminsions which are 1.5x5.5 >:( Oh well, they do the job just fine and I don't think the extra length will give me problems.
