Welcome. I still don't understand the ten day wait. The biggest mind boggler about it is that if you order a gun....and it takes over a year to show up....you still have to go to the dealer, sign papers and start the"extra 10 day wait". Just in case you ordered that gun a year ago with ill intentions. You know...an extra 10 days might cool you down

What?!? The PowerPoint blksheep posted says that stuff is awesome?? Sounded convincing to me...but I don't know crap. I'm sure good things will come of it. I usually have the "if it ain't broke don't fix it" attitude, but hey...if they can break it...it'll give the industry something to fix.

Oh good...they're going to replace the lead with copper....because you know, that stuff wasn't pricey enough already. Wouldn't want your enemies dying of lead poisoning. I wonder what's next?

One down. Pics and some test firing hopefully this weekend. Total BCM upper. 14.5 middy with pinned BCM comp, bcg and gunfighter handle, DD 9" Omega rail, CTR stock, Ergo grip, SSA-E topped with a 512 and the good ol A1 fsb. She feels nice.

I was gonna suggest an iPhone.... My wife has one of the canon powershot cameras. She seems to like it. I've either got the 1dmk-IIN or my phone. Really, I like the phone.

This was my first thought when I read this thread. Haven't had that problem in a while though. Coming up on 5 months now as a quitter...again. Maybe it will stick this time. I have noticed that the coffee alone won't get me...but that first cig on top of sure as hell used to work.

Great info you guys are adding. This was my hope for this thread. A lot of us non mechanical folk try to attack things we just don't know enough about. Tips like these could help save a lot of time and heartache for the next guy who wants to do it, but has no background experience in tapping. Thanks for all the ifo guys!

I don't know...but if oven cleaner didn't work so well, I would highly recommend this stuff as a stripper.

Man, I can't believe it worked. I also can't believe my wife let me do that on her stove! Editing to add: Total cost of the beaker and a 500g bottle of Alum shipped to my door was just under $30. Could have save about $6 and got the 100g bottle. Didn't know how much I would need.

That LMT barrel was nice...but only instock till that morning. She disappeared fast.
